The teams came together for a challenging training weekend away.
In late June, the three teams all met in the Peak District for a weekend of training which saw all types of weather hit them. Hills, quiet country roads and beautiful scenery set them up perfectly for the challenge in September.
“The training weekend was brilliant. We were left in no doubt why the Peak District is so named as we cycled 105 miles climbed over 11,000ft during the two days. It was fantastic to meet so many other team members, the more experienced cyclists were able to share training hints and tips as well as motivation on the harder parts of the route; and those of us newer to the game got a real sense of what further training is going to be necessary to complete the main event in September!" said Adrian Furniss, one of the Tour de Pudsey riders.
