I've spent the last three years having operations and physio to combat injuries after an accident.

I started cycling in 2012 and quickly fell in love with it. Over the course of the next 18 months I got stronger on the bike however on Boxing Day 2013 I was hit by a car whilst out cycling and received some serious injuries. The last few years have seen me undergo three operations and lots of physiotherapy in order to combat the injuries that I received.

When I saw the chance to enter Tour de Pudsey it was a chance to put these events behind me and get on my bike and raise some money for a magnificent charity. I am currently cycling about 160 miles a week to prepare for the event and have fund-raising events planned between now and the event. I simply hope to smash my fundraising target whilst cycling with like minded colleagues.
