Suit and Pace

Reaching out to communities through theatre.

Beth Hamilton-Cardus and co-founder Andrew Coull set up Fife-based Suit and Pace in 2012. Using Andrew’s acting skills and Beth’s experience in community education, Suit and Pace deliver short theatre pieces, storytelling sessions and workshops at local schools and theatres, bringing together the community and engaging them in topics relevant to their lives.

With the training of the Bank of Scotland Social Entrepreneurs Programme, Beth has been able to develop Suit and Pace further and start thinking about scaling the enterprise to operate across Scotland.

Beth said: “The Bank of Scotland Social Entrepreneurs Programme has definitely helped Suit and Pace to grow and become more sustainable. It’s great to have the opportunity to connect with other like-minded social entrepreneurs on the programme and my mentor Jane McGuire has offered a really different perspective on trading as a business, enabling me to take a step back and look for new opportunities.”
